Below are the other area contested municipal race results. All results are unofficial.

Cattaraugus County

CORONER

For Cattaraugus County coroner, (R) Kevin O’Rourke unofficially defeated (D) Elwyn Clark. As of midnight, 54 districts were accounted for out of the 55 and O’Rourke had 9,081 votes to Clark’s 5,328.

PERRYSBURG

For town supervisor, (R) Jennifer Dabolt unofficially defeated (D) Constance Johnson, 255-221.

For two council seats, Republicans Richard Gabel and Andrew Lord won with 327 and 232 votes, respectively, over Democrats Mary Stuhr and Lisa Towne, who both got 176 votes.

Chautauqua County

BROCTON

In the three-way race for two village trustee seats, challengers Bryan C. Woleben and Arthur L. Miller won over incumbent Jason DeJoe.

Woleben received 180 votes and Miller received 166, while DeJoe received 152 votes.

CHARLOTTE

Allen W. Chase has convincingly defeated incumbent Kenneth Bochmann in the race for town supervisor. Chase received 293 votes while Bochmann received 161.

Incumbent Susan L. Peacock was re-elected over challenger Jennifer Stenta for the position of town clerk. Peacock received 285 votes while Stenta received 168 votes.

CHAUTAUQUA TOWN

Both incumbents, Thomas J. Carlson and David P. Ward unofficially beat out Sharon M. Smead for the two council seats. Carlson received 845 votes, Ward got 607 votes and Smead walked away with 459 votes.

HANOVER

The unofficial results for the Hanover Town Justice race show that Philip Hall narrowly defeated incumbent Anthony J. Pearl. Hall received 611 votes while Pearl received 590 votes. The third candidate, Wayne L. Ashley, received 586 votes.

Incumbent Bernard J. Feldmann Jr. and Edward Schintzius, have unofficially won the two town council seats in the four-way race, defeating Adam M. Karnes and Peter Gibson. Feldmann had 1,127 votes and Schintzius had 975 votes. The other two candidates were Karnes with 737 votes and Gibson with 451 votes.

POMFRET

Incumbents Brett M. Christy and Christopher H. Schaeffer have unofficially retained their council seats for another term, defeating challenger Michael M. Reynolds. Schaeffer received 1,818 votes and Christy received 1,795 votes. Reynolds lost with 1,438 votes.

Incumbent Daniel D. Bigelow defeated Joel K. Chimera for town highway superintendent. Bigelow received 1,695 votes while challenger Chimera received 1,182 votes.

PORTLAND

Incumbents Jerry Boltz and Rick M. Manzella have unofficially retained their town council seats, defeating challenger Matt Furman. Manzella received 526 votes and Boltz received 440 votes. Furman lost, receiving 395 votes.

SHERIDAN

Rebecca Schafer defeated Susan A. Bigler for the open town clerk seat. Schafer received 522 votes while Bigler received 231 votes.

Incumbent Richard C. Feinen retained his town council seat. Joining him on the council will be Craig M. Sutton Jr. Both defeated challenger Ann L. Tofil. Sutton has collected the most votes with 568, while Feinen received 505 votes. Tofil lost with 278 votes.

Erie County

CLERK

For Erie County clerk, (R) Michael Kearns unofficially won over (D) Steven Cichon. As of midnight, Kearns had 105,538 votes to Cichon’s 97,688, where 833 districts were accounted for out of the 837.

SHERIFF

For the Erie County Sheriff position, (R) Tim Howard unofficially defeated (D) Bernie Tolbert. As of midnight, Howard had 106,300 votes to 102,471 for Tolbert, where 833 districts were accounted for out of the 837.

COMPTROLLER

For Erie County Comptroller, (R) Stefan Mychajliw unofficially won over (D) Vanessa Glushefski. As of midnight, Mychajliw received 112,249 votes to Glushefski’s 90,678, where 833 districts were accounted for out of the 837.

BRANT

In the contested race for the two seats on council, Republicans Michael Muffoletto and Donna Marien unofficially won with 462 and 330 votes, respectively. (D) Alexander Kujanwinski lost after getting 310 votes. For the town justice, (R) Chad Kaczmarek unofficially won a close race over (D) Donald Clark by getting 326 votes to 314.

COLLINS

(D, R) James Hotnich and (R) Sara Jane Sion took the two seats on the council getting 916 and 722 votes, respectively. (D) Thomas Siegle lost, getting only 409 votes. For town clerk, (R) Becky Jo Summers won re-election over (D) Tara Mentley, 645-503.

EVANS

The town of Evans unofficially voted down Proposition 1, where the town council was to increase from two to four members. In the contested race, (D) Michael Schraft, who received 2,578 votes, defeated (R) Guy Canonico, Jr., who received 1,543 votes.

NORTH COLLINS

For the two council seats, Republicans Peter Robbins, 556, and William Moritz, 496, won over Democrats James Lint, 358, and John Mrozek, 417.
