SILVER CREEK — On Wednesday, Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies responded to the report of an altercation on Williams Street in the village of Silver Creek. It is alleged that Mayra Casado-Cruz, 22, of Washington Avenue, Dunkirk was involved in the altercation and caused injury to another party.

Mayra Casado-Cruz was subsequently charged with third-degree assault and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment through the centralized arraignment program.
