HANOVER — Today at around 3:40 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Routes 5 and 20.

Investigation into the accident found that Caleb Daniels, 28, of Brocton was traveling west on Routes 5 and 20, when he allegedly rear ended another vehicle. As a result of the accident one person was transported to Lakeshore Hospital for minor injuries.

Daniels was issued a traffic citation for following to closely and is due to appear in the town of Hanover Court at a later date. Deputies were assisted by the Irving, Sunset Bay, and Silver Creek fire departments.
