Hanson Sign Companies adds staff
FALCONER — Hanson Sign Companies is pleased to announce that Jay Johnson has been promoted to director of sales. Johnson has been with Hanson Sign Companies since 1999.
He started as an account executive and promoted to senior account executive in 2011. Johnson has continually demonstrated his strong leadership, manufacturing and engineering skills, and outstanding customer service. He now will focus on leading our sales staff to achieve the company’s goals. Johnson has proven to be a key player transitioning the company this past year after a change in ownership.
Johnson graduated from Jamestown Business College with a degree in business administration, marketing and management. He is an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and is an avid sportsman.
Ed Sullivan, CEO of Hanson Sign Companies is excited to have Johnson join his senior management team. The addition of Johnson to the senior leadership team will enhance the company’s already well established position in the sign industry and will gear the company for continued growth and development in the wholesale market.
Additionally, Hanson Sign Companies is excited to welcome Kathy Sullivan to the roll of purchasing manager.
Sullivan joined the Hanson family in April and has already proven to be a leader within the organization. Sullivan’s roll as purchasing manager is to maintain and improve inventory management, negotiate with suppliers to identify sources for optimal materials and prices. She will also work closely with the production team to insure production needs are met and on time.
Sullivan graduated from SUNY Brockport with a BS in mathematics. She has 23 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, where she concentrated on marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys attending her family’s sporting events. She also enjoys landscaping and gardening.
