Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP welcomes new employees

Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP has announced the hiring of Nathan Nobles and Kathleen Furness as staff accountants.

Both Nobles and Furness will be involved in various areas of the firm including tax preparation, auditing, reviews of financial statements, and compiling financial statements.

Nobles is a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He also holds an associate of science degree in business administration from Jamestown Community College. He was a participant in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Furness holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Before joining Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP, she worked for several family-run businesses, serving as business manager, bookkeeper and financial planner. She was also a tax preparer for an international tax preparation company.

Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP is a local accounting firm in Fredonia that serves primarily the Western New York area. The firm performs traditional accounting and auditing functions, in addition to a wide range of tax and fiscal management advisory services. They also perform peer reviews.
