Pictured is a vehicle that crashed into a home around 5:30 a.m. Labor Day in Dunkirk. The incident remains under investigation after Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies responded to the report on West Tenny Street. On arrival deputies located the vehicle that had crashed into the residence with both having sustained heavy damage.
There were two injured parties treated on the scene by EMS personnel. One subject was transported by Alstar to Brooks Memorial Hospital and the other was flown by STAT MedEvac to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo for their injuries.
The department was assisted by the City of Dunkirk Police, Town of Dunkirk Fire Department, and Alstar.
