Pennsylvania man charged after driving 109 mph

POLAND — A Pennsylvania man, who was allegedly driving 109 mph in a 65 mph zone, has made a complete stop in the county jail.

State Police in Jamestown report Tristan Drake, 20, of Troy, Pa., unlawfully fled from an officer. Troopers attempted to stop Drake on I-86 in Kennedy, but he allegedly refused to pull over, continued east and exited the interstate at School House Road.

The Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies assisted in the pursuit and Drake was eventually stopped in the village of Randolph.  Drake was placed under arrest, processed at SP Jamestown and issued multiple traffic tickets.

Drake was then arraigned in the town of Poland Court, remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and is schedueled to reappear in the Town of Poland Court next month.
