City crews battle vacant house fire

Another vacant house in the city of Dunkirk was damaged in an early morning fire.

City Fire Department crews report receiving a call from a resident who saw flames at the 93 Marsden St. location around 3 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival crews found a structure fully involved in fire.

Crews fought the fire with several hose lines and the City Ladder Truck from the exterior. The fire took two hours to contain and all city apparatus was back in service at 5:30 a.m. There were no injuries and the fire is under investigation.
