CANANDAIGUA — The Jamestown Community College women's soccer team moved to 2-0 with a 4-0 win over Finger Lakes CC on Wednesday. The Jayhawks peppered the Lakers goalie early and often in the Region 3 showdown. Jamestown CC racked up 13 shots on goal in the first half, but was only able to break through once. SHERMAN — Shelby Begier dealt 18 assists and Westfield swept Sherman 25-20, 25-10, 25-7 in a nonleague volleyball match on Wednesday. Avery Smith added 13 kills for the Wolverines (1-0), Nahlia Douglas had six kills and two aces and Molly Burgess provided three digs and four aces. Sherman (0-1) was led by Emmersen Crawford with seven kills, Ava Irwin had six assists and three digs and Carlie Gable added two kills and four digs.
