WESTFIELD — An August incident at a Felton Road address has led to charges against a Fredonia woman.
On Aug. 2, deputies responded to a reported larceny and criminal mischief. As the incident developed Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators became active in the case. Over the course of the investigation, evidence was developed leading investigators to believe that Junette S. Skelly, 42, had stolen a computer tablet from the property and damaged multiple windows from several structures on the property.
Investigators also developed evidence leading them to believe that as a result of stealing the computer tablet, Skelly gained access to computer material she did not have a right to access. Additional evidence developed by investigators also led them to believe that access to the computer material then allowed Skelly to impersonate one victim and disseminate intimate images of an additional victim.
As a result of this Skelly was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with petit larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal impersonation, unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image and computer trespass.
Skelly was arraigned at the Chautauqua County Jail Centralized Arraignment program for the charges out of the Town of Westfield.
