Humane Society begins capital campaign

The Chautauqua County Humane Society is accepting contributions for its new capital campaign. The overhaul of renovations is looking to better fill the needs of the organization while also better serving the community members that support the Humane Society. Coordinators say increased community connection, and additional animal space, will enhance the lives of all the residents and pets that they serve. Preceptor Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi towel bingo BROCTON — On Sunday, the Preceptor Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi is sponsoring its 23rd Annual Towel Bingo at the Brocton American Legion Post 434, Main Street, from 1 to 4 p.m. Doors will open at noon. Silver Creek Seniors meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on March 3 with 19 members present. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. The lunch was pizza, fresh vegetables and a delicious cake. Winners of the door prizes were Annie Griem and Jeanne Blakely.
