Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet

The Silver Creek Seniors met on Nov. 25 with 17 in attendance. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. The members enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner which was prepared and served by Dolly Beebe. The guest speaker was Pat from Cradle Beach. She spoke about the new Social Day Respite for caregivers and their aging loved ones. South Dayton plans Christmas in the Village

SOUTH DAYTON — Christmas in the Village will take place Saturday, Dec. 13. The South Dayton American Legion Post 1593 Auxiliary is preparing for its first Scavenger Hunt starting at 10 a.m. at the Depot. Pick up a Scavenger Hunt ticket, have fun, return your ticket to the American Legion, Mill Street. Prizes will be awarded for a child, a teen and an adult. This is a family-fun adventure.
