Lydia Bermudez-Gerena died at her home in Fredonia, NY on July 10, 2024. She was born on Sept. 26, 1944 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Before becoming a homemaker for most of her life, Lydia served in the US Army, from 1972-1974. She and her husband, Jose Maissonet-Rodriquez, had been married for 51 years.
