Hall of Fame golf tourney set for July 22

RANDOLPH — The Cattaraugus County Sports Hall of Fame is hosting a four-person golf scramble at Cardinal Hills on Wednesday, July 22 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Interested golfers can register a two-person or four-person team. The cost for lunch, dinner, golf, cart, prizes and awards is $75. Jake Youngberg had two singles and four RBIs to lead the Stuart Tool & Die A’s past the Nestle Purina Blue Jays 8-2. Brian Gunnell added a triple for the A’s, who totaled nine hits. Travis Butcher scattered seven hits while striking out 13 in a complete-game effort on the mound. Ryan Bonnas had two hits for the Blue Jays to back losing pitcher Ryan Johnson.
