Responders at scene of Route 60 crash

Sinkhole closes portion of Central Ave. in city

Central Avenue in Dunkirk is closed from Lake Shore Drive to Third Street and Washington Avenue to Eagle Street due to a sinkhole that appeared this afternoon. City work crews have closed the street and it is unknown for how long the closings will be in place.

Crews quickly douse fire in camper
