Scot Laurie and Jessica Putcher, together with their families, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Glenn and Julie Putcher of Brocton. She plans to graduate from Fredonia State with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

The prospective groom is the son of Bruce and Susan Laurie of Fredonia. He is a service technician for Culligan Water.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 6, 2018 in Cassadaga.
