Erin Ackerman and Nicholas Holt

Erin Ackerman and Nicholas Holt of Westfield, together with their families and dog Hobbes, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeffrey Ackerman of Fredonia and Laurie Lawton of Dunkirk. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in French as well as bachelor and master of arts degrees in English literature from SUNY Fredonia. A former higher education administrator, she is currently employed by Chautauqua Institution.

The prospective groom is the son of Stephen and Stephanie Holt of Westfield. A 2004 graduate of Westfield Academy, he holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from The College of Wooster and serves as Resident Nerd for Howard Hanna Holt Real Estate.

An intimate Oct. 6, 2018 ceremony is planned at the Patterson Library of Westfield, New York.
