Sara DeChard and Joshua Welch of Cassadaga, together with their families, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Charlene DeChard of Cassadaga. She is a 2014 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. In May of 2018 she will earn a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Edinboro University.

The prospective groom is the son of Tammy Welch of Cassadaga and the late Timothy Welch. He is a 2014 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. In 2017, he earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice and is currently employed at the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department.

A September 2019 wedding is planned.
