GOWANDA — In an effort to promote a positive school community, Gowanda Elementary School highlights students who display good character traits. Congratulations to these students who “got caught” displaying exemplary core values during November 2018.

Second-grader Kayella Smoke. Kayella got caught displaying the core value of teamwork by cleaning up another student’s spilled water. What a nice way to help a fellow student, Kayella!

Third-grader Jaden Knopf. Jaden got caught displaying honesty when he found money on the bus and turned it in to an adult. We appreciate your honesty, Jaden!

Fourth-grader Weston Bolen. Weston got caught displaying responsibility by notifying his teacher of important information, which helped to keep others safe and secure. Thank you, Weston!

Every third-grader in Ms. Steklasa’s class got caught displaying responsibility by returning their books to the library before the first quarter ended. Very impressive!
