Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary names their Students of the Month for April

Three Students of the Month were honored by the Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club in April. From left are Alyshah Flores of Dunkirk High School, Mackenzie Quinn of Fredonia High School and Jordyn Sweet of Westfield High School who attends the health careers program at BOCES. Flores is a member of Upward Bound and vice president of her class. She plans on attending SUNY New Paltz to major in photography. Quinn has been a member of the swim team and Model UN. She will be attending Syracuse University to major in political science and sociology. She also plans to attend law school and become an attorney specializing in civil rights litigation. Sweet credits her BOCES teacher as being her biggest motivator to become a nurse. She plans on attending Jamestown Community College after graduation and taking part in its nursing program.
