The Botticello Family reunion was held at Evangola State Park. A chicken barbecue dinner by Weidner’s was severed along with many appetizers, salads, and desserts family members provided. A cake featuring last year’s attendees served as dessert.

The highlight of the reunion was a water balloon toss competition, where it went down to the line! Nancy and Rick Taaffe came up a little short but Crista and Giorgio Cimino were victorious and received first place ribbons for their effort! It was heard that a rematch next year will be inevitable!

Many members enjoyed the walk to the beach or basking in the warm sunny day. A short meeting was held and it was determined to have the 2020 reunion at the same place on Aug. 3, but this was later amended to be on the Aug. 9 so as not to conflict with the Eden Corn Festival.

Family members came from Florida, Getzville, Buffalo, Rushford, Alden, East Aurora, Williamsville, Amherst, Forestville and Fredonia.
