The Forestville American Legion Post 953 sponsored one boy from Forestville High School Class of 2020 to attend Boys State. Boys State was held June 27 through July 2 at SUNY Morrisville. Representing Post 953 was Lucas Young on the left and on the right is post commander Thomas Halicki congratulating him, with a Boys State Certificate of Achievement. Lucas is the son of Robert Young and Lynne Kokocinski. Lucas plans to attend Alfred University and earn a masters degree in mechanical engineering.
