Elizabeth Sawka, daughter of Rosemarie Sawka of Lancaster, formerly of Fredonia, and the late Vincent Sawka, earned a Masters of Social Work from the Graduate School of Social Services at Fordham University during their 2020 commencement.

Elizabeth is the Creative Arts Specialist for Covenant House New York, a homeless shelter for youth under 21 years of age. She is a 2012 graduate of Fredonia High School and a 2016 graduate of Canisius College.
