Local student earns degree at D’Youville College

Dominique Riforgiato, a Fredonia High graduate class of 2017, received her degree from D’youville College in Buffalo in May as a member of Lambda Sigma, a national honor society for second year students, and Chi Alpha Sigma, a national college athlete honor society.

She received the ESS academic excellence award and a cord for an exemplary service award.

She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Studies from D’Youville College in three years while playing soccer and lacrosse. She was also a representative for the women’s soccer team on SAAC, the president of ESS club, and the representative for the ESS department on the Student Dean’s Council for the School of Health Professions.

She will be attending D’Youville College for grad school to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
