Career successes bring LaGrow regional honor

Christopher LaGrow

Christopher LaGrow, associate director of the Career Development Office at the State University at Fredonia, has received the Building Bridges Award from the Western New York Association of College Career Centers.

The award, presented annually, highlights collaboration within the career development profession and showcases the work of two or more offices, colleges or departments working together to promote career success for students.

The honor recognizes LaGrow’s leadership and collaborative work with WNYACCC through his years of co-chairing the Western New York Career & Internship Fair (formerly referred to as Jobsapalooza) and his collaboration with SUNY Buffalo State on the annual Graduate School Fair.

“Collaborating with my colleagues is one of my favorite aspects of my job so I was very honored to be recognized for that very thing,” LaGrow said.

WNYACCC includes career development professionals at 19 colleges and universities in Western New York.
