William and Frances Sayers of Fredonia celebrated their 70th wedding anniversay on March 31, 2021. They have resided in Fredonia all their lives.

He is retired from Fredonia State College maintenance department. The couple has five sons: Robert of Fredonia, Michael (Donna) of Lakewood, Kenneth (Karen) of Addy, Wash., Thomas of Brocton and William (Michelle) of Front Royal, Va., 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
