Food trucks and artisan vendors 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beer and wine sales, a hot dog stand, a chicken barbecue (presale tickets available), a yard sale and a bouce house for young children. Music all day includes a DJ from noon to 1:30 p.m., a local chorus at 1:45 p.m., and a live performance by the rising from 4 to 7 p.m. nominal fees for different types of vendors. CREATE Project: capturing footage for the documentary film “Tradition, Trauma, & Tenderness”

Dunkirk Memorial Park, 1 to 3 p.m. The film will educate communities about trauma; its impact on children, and how traditions, shared in a tender, nurturing environment, can help children heal and grow. Silver Creek Village Wide Yard Sale

Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. Homeowners can submit their registrations on line at www.chautauquachamber.org $10 per sale. Yard sale maps will be sold for $2 in the village park in Silver Creek the morning of the sale and will also list include some great offers from local businesses. Proceeds support scholarships.

Trinity Lutheran Church indoor yard sale

15 Porter Ave., Silver Creek, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items include a large selection of books, jewelry, wrapping supplies, craft supplies and some freebies. The men of the church will sponsor a Sahlen’s hot dog sale starting at 10 a.m., which inclues a hot dog, bag of chips, bottle of water and bag of cookies for $4. Items also sold seprately. The Hanover Center Fire Department will receive 50% of the yard sale proceeds and 100% of the hog dog sale proceeds.

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday mid-May through October on Church Street, downtown Fredonia. It features a variety of vendors, with special events TBA. A number of vendors accept EBT, NYS Farmers Market Nutrition checks and WIC vegetables and fruits checks.

“Ronnie’s Way” 5K benefit for Ron Graham

Jackson-Taylor Park, Eleventh and Washington streets, Jamestown. 5K run at 10 a.m., followed by :hot-shot basketball at 11 a.m., community walk at 11 a.m., community lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live music by disc jockey Jim Bloomquist, and Steve Davis and Friends from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds will be used to help defray Graham’s medical expenses in his battle with stage-4 gastroesophageal cancer.

2022 Vintage Book and Paper Show and Sale

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

Audubon Sunday Storytime

Children ages 2 to 8 and their caregivers are invited to a free nature-based storytime at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Sunday admission is also free.
