Fredonia Farmers Market

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday mid-May through October on Church Street, downtown Fredonia. It features a variety of vendors, with special events TBA. A number of vendors accept EBT, NYS Farmers Market Nutrition checks and WIC vegetables and fruits checks.

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Non-scary event where talking animals engage the imagination and teach about wildlife in the region. After the walk, backyard snacks and campfire.
