Artist Kestutis Vasiliunas lecture and exhibition

SUNY Fredonia McEwan Hall Room 209, 4 to 5:30 p.m. In the lecture, Vasiliunas will cover his artmaking, life and experiences as an artist and professor in his native Lithuania and growing up in the former Soviet Union. Following the lecture, an exhibition of his work will be held in the Emit Christian Art Gallery in Rockefeller Arts Center room 229.

Harvest Moon Cemetery Tour Festival

Ghost and History Horse-Drawn Trolley Tours are planned in Fredonia from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets need to be pre-purchased. Hear tales of the founding families, local heroes and some of the nost notorious villains from around the area. Fredonia Farmers Market

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday mid-May through October on Church Street, downtown Fredonia. It features a variety of vendors, with special events TBA. A number of vendors accept EBT, NYS Farmers Market Nutrition checks and WIC vegetables and fruits checks.

Stop 22 veteran walk for suicide prevention

Silver Creek VFW Post, N. Main St., Village of Silver Creek. Register at 9 a.m., the 22-minute walk begins at 10. starting and ending at the Post. The $1 registration cost will benefit the Homeless Veterans Project to assist suicide prevention and awareness.
