Fredonia Farmers’ Market

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from November through mid-May at the Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. It features a variety of food vendors, artisan crafts and prepared foods for sale. The market welcomes cash, credit cards, SNAP benefits and is handicapped accessible.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats. Nola’s Angels and Horse Rescue fund-raiser

44 South St., Panama, 4 p.m. Donations accepted for a minimum of $1, three types of chili, make smores over a fire, play games. Treasure box for kids to take home something. 50/50 tickets, $5 each, 10 for $35. Proceeds go for building an indoor arena and separate stalls for animals taken in that need quarantine.
