Child Advocacy Program (CAP) Step Up for Kids 5K

Connect Dunkirk Committee “Get on a Train” day

Boston & Maine Steam Locomotive 444, along with its D&H boxcar and NYC

Caboose, will be open to the public at no charge. Informational displays will be inside, and committee members will be there to assist and discuss efforts to bring a train stop to Chautauqua County. A Toy Train Show will be presented by the TCA Upstate NY Chapter in another location in the Fairgrounds with a nominal entrance fee.

Fredonia Farmers’ Market

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from November through mid-May at the Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. It features a variety of food vendors, artisan crafts and prepared foods for sale. The market welcomes cash, credit cards, SNAP benefits and is handicapped accessible.

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes.
