Festivals Fredonia meeting

Fredonia Memorial Post 59 American Legion, 156 E. Main St., 5:30 p.m. A complete agenda will be available at the meeting for board members and guests. There will be light refreshments and some presentations. The meeting is open to the public.

Lakeshore Humane Society Wednesday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Please note that during the month of December, through the generosity of an anonymous donor, if one cat is adopted, the adoption fee for a second cat will be waived, regardless of the age of the cat. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats. One must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet. The Cat’s Meow Boutique will be open for purchases by the public. For details, call 716 672-1991.
