Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
Community members are asked to leave donations of non-perishable food items in bags near their mailboxes to be picked up by their letter carriers for distribution to local food banks.
Audubon Community Nature Center bird banding
1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown, pavilion on west side of ACNC property, drop by during the time period of 7 to 11 a.m. Watch how they capture migrating and resident birds, fit them with identification bands, measure, weigh and then release them. If the weather is too harsh for the safety of the birds, the nets won’t be opened.
