Audubon Community Nature Center bird banding

1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown, pavilion on west side of ACNC property, drop by during the time period of 7 to 11 a.m. Watch how they capture migrating and resident birds, fit them with identification bands, measure, weigh and then release them. The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes.
