25th anniversary Sinclairville History Fair

7 to 9 a.m.: Breakfast by the 76ers; 9:50 a.m.: memorial service at Minkler’s Commons; 10 a.m.: grand parade, craft show, farmers’ market; 11 a.m.: Chris and Friends ventriloquist and magician at the library, face painting, baby parade at the firehall (prizes for all entrants), Grandma’s fruit pie contest at the firehall, classic car, truck and cycle cruise-in, antique tractor display, music in the bandstand with The Scroggins, Church Street stage music with Paul Zittel & Pure Country at 11 a.m. (bring seating); 11:30 a.m.: chicken barbecue by the library and fire department for $15; 12 p.m.: pickleball for all ages in the park; 1:30 p.m.: all breeds dog show at the firehall; 2 p.m.: guided historic Evergreen Cemetery tour; 3 to 6 p.m.: music in the bandstand with Rustic Ramblers; 5 p.m.: street dance in the tent with D.J. Felony; 9 p.m. fireworks. Also live historical displays at the museum, food trucks, bounce houses, kids’ games, horse-drawn wagon rides.

Bemus Point Fall Fest

Street market and open houses 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors, food, crafts, art, specials, face painting, petting zoo, more. Classic car and motorcycle cruise-in at Bemus Point Tap House, Bemus Point Historical Society open house 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bemus Point Library book sale 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Chautauqua County Humane Society fund-raiser 4:30 to 7 p.m. Adoptable animals available. For $20, a photographer will be available to photograph you and your dog or just your dog. Service and K-9 dogs free. Proceeds benefit CCHS.

Tour of Chautauqua bicycle ride

Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield, registration between 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. All tours begin with a mass start at 9 a.m. Routes of 25, 40, 75 and 100 miles. $35 registration fee includes a sit-down meal at the finish at the Episcopal church. Water stops, tours pass through several small towns.

Fredonia Farmers’ Market

Church Street, downtown Fredonia at Barker Common, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It features a variety of food vendors, crafts, artisans and prepared foods for sale. The market welcomes cash, credit cards, SNAP benefits.

Historic Lily Dale Funfest

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Blessing of the Grapes Mass
