Nights of the Living Reg: “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”

116 E. Third St., Jamestown, doors open at 9 p.m., show at 10 p.m. 50th anniversary showing. Tickets $15 at box office, $17 online or by phone. In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” Rated R. $5 Fun Pack will be sold that includes many items to be used in the screening including rice, playing cards, glow sticks, mini-gloves and more. Strong language and a lot of shouting will be used by several audience members as is traditional with a Rocky Horror showing. Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes.
