Westfield YWCA to hold father daughter dance

The Westfield YWCA is sponsoring its annual father daughter dance on Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the YWCA building, 58 S. Portage St., Westfield. Tickets are $20 per couple and include music, dance lessons, light refreshments and a keepsake photo.

“… Once again we are pleased to welcome Ms. (Emmie) Bishop back as our dance instructor,” said YWCA Executive Director Katie Smith. “She adds just the right touch to our event, teaching the young ladies and their escorts classical steps as well as some of the newest dance moves. We open this dance to young ladies from kindergarten through 5th grade and their escorts can be dads, step dads, grandfathers, uncles, cousins or a family friend; any adult man that is important to them.

The evening is designed as a special evening out – complete with music and dancing. While we do suggest formal attire, it doesn’t need to be a tuxedo and prom-like dress; just being fancy can be fun!”

There is limited seating for the dance and tickets are presale only – available at the YWCA offices or the YWCA after school program office at Westfield School.

For more information, call the YWCA at 326-2011.

Starting at $3.50/week.
