Collins Public Library schedules October events

COLLINS – The Collins Public Library has announced its October scheduling of events.

Adult Events

Quilting with Florence: Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Come quilt with these knowledgeable ladies!

Senior Movie: Friday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. Starring Michael Shannon, Kevin Spacey, Alex Pettyfer.

Book Club: Monday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. Discussing Diane Setterfield’s novel “The Thirteenth Tale.”

E-Reader Class: Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 5:30 p.m. Ages 17 and up. Registration is required.

Children’s Events

Tie Dye Night: Monday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. Ages 13 to 17, call or stop in to the library to sign up!

Craft Club: Monday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. Ages 4 to 12. Registration is required so call or stop in to sign up!

Lego Club: Monday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Ages 4 to 12, registration is helpful but not required!

Collins Public Library has a community room that is available for community groups. Call for availability.

Erie County Library cards are available to all Erie County residents, all individuals who work in Erie County, and all those who live in the Gowanda School tax district.

Library Hours: Monday 2 to 8 p.m., Tuesday 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 2 to 8 p.m., Friday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.to 2 p.m., Sunday – CLOSED. Telephone 532-5129.
