Raffle to benefit Silver Creek’s Anderson-Lee Library

SILVER CREEK — The Friends of the Anderson-Lee Library in Silver Creek is sponsoring its annual December raffle to benefit the library.

There will be more than 30 baskets and gift certificates donated by community members and local businesses, with a grand prize of an iPad Air 2 with 128 GB by the Friends. Prizes will be on display at the library.

Tickets for the drawings are $1 each. They can be purchased at the library and will be on sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations: Rite Aid, 214 Central Ave., Silver Creek – Friday, Dec. 2; Saturday, Dec. 3; Wednesday, Dec. 7, and Smith’s True Value, Routes 5 & 20 Irving – Tuesday, Dec. 6; Friday, Dec. 9; Saturday, Dec. 10. Tickets can also be purchased from any member of The Friends. All ticket money must be returned to the library before Dec. 15.

The drawing will be held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 15. It is not necessary to be present to win. A complete list of prizes and winners will be posted in the library after the drawing. All winners will be called after the drawing.
