WESTFIELD — The 2016 Mikey Strong/Lowriginal fall blast car show was a huge success and great time for everyone who attended. Held at Moose Beach in Westfield, over 30 people and local businesses donated to the event in the form of gift baskets and gift certificates to help raise money for cancer research. Money raised will be donated to Roswell Park Cancer Institute in memory of Michael Edwards III, who passed away this year after his long battle with cancer. Ryan Snarski emceed the event, raffling off prizes and awards with the help of Lowriginal car club members Josh Estep, Ryan Sanderson and Spencer Jackman, along with many others. Several of Mikey Edwards’ family members attended the event, along with the family of his fiancee, Janelle Becker. The show consisted of many local and out-of-town car clubs, Erie Modified, universal extreme car club, Dubs in the Buff, Alliance and Empire Stance, to name a few. More than 300 people attended and a good time was had by all, for a good cause. Congratulations to all that won awards and thanks to everyone that helped to make a great day in honoring a good friend to everyone. Visit the Lowriginal Official Facebook page for more information and pictures from the event.
