Family Life broadcasts in Dunkirk on new radio signal, 100.5 FM

Family Life, a listener-supported Christian radio network based in Bath, New York, is broadcasting its contemporary Christian music and programming in Dunkirk on 100.5 FM. Stretching south into Fredonia, the signal brings stronger, clearer reception to approximately 35,000 potential listeners in Chautauqua County.

The 100.5 FM station extends the reach of Family Life southwest from its Silver Creek station, WCOM 89.3 FM, into the Dunkirk and Fredonia areas.

“The new signal is strong enough that residents in the Dunkirk and Fredonia areas can hear Family Life loud and clear in their homes now, whereas before, reception was unavailable or unreliable,” says Rick Snavely, president and network manager of Family Life. “That’s a big improvement!  We are so grateful to reach more homes because people are growing more and more desperate for hope in this world. We believe Jesus Christ is that hope, and spreading and celebrating the Gospel is a service we thankfully and joyfully provide.”

Family Life provides listener-supported Christian radio to regions of New York and Pennsylvania, now reaching a potential listenership of nearly five million. The radio network airs a mix of programming, including contemporary Christian music, Biblical teaching, daily news and radio drama for kids and families.
