Dunkirk Public Library sets summer events
The Dunkirk Public Library, located at 536 Central Ave., has announced its summer events schedule. Call the library at 366-2511 for details about any of the programs.
Carnival at the Dunkirk Public Library: Wednesday, June 28 from 2 to 4 p.m., in the library back yard. Kids 2 to 10 years old can play carnival games, enjoy refreshments, and get a balloon animal. This is a free event, open to the public.
Cris Johnson, Magician: Friday, July 14 from 10 to 11 a.m., for children 2 to 10 years old. Free and open to the public. Call the library for the location of the event.
Defiant Monkey Improv: Friday, July 21, from 10 to 11 a.m., improvisational acting with audience participation. For kids 2 to 10 years old. Free and open to the public. Call the library for the location of the event.
Omnipresent Puppet Theater presents: “The Three Little Pigs,” Friday, July 28 from 10 to 11 a.m. For kids 2 to 10 years old. Free and open to the public. Call the library for the location of the event.
St. Bonaventure Art Mobile: Monday, July 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the library. Kids 2 to 10 years old can learn about artists and participate in art projects. Free and open to the public.
Thursday afternoon movies at the Dunkirk Public Library: July 6 through Aug. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dunkirk Public Library. Children 2 to 10 years old can watch kids’ movies and enjoy popcorn in the air-conditioned room! Call the library for movie titles.
