Bike safety clinic to be held Tuesday at Silver Creek ball park

SILVER CREEK — Working to “Build a Better World,” three local organizations are working together to educate local youth about the importance of bicycle safety. Anderson-Lee Library, Spoke Folk, and the village of Silver Creek Recreation invite interested youth and their families to the pavilion in the village ball park on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. for a bike safety clinic and helmet giveaway. Come have your bike checked out and learn about safe riding, including having a properly-fitted helmet. Upon completion of the event, a limited amount of free bicycle helmets will be available to those who do not own a safe helmet.

Registration is required. Call the library at 934-3468, stop by 43 Main St., Silver Creek or visit www.andersonleelibrary.com (click on summer reading tab, then Tuesdays with Miss Amy link) to register.
