The Fredonia Central School District ENL (English as a New Language) Department hosted its annual Holiday Dinner for all of the district ENL students and their families on Friday, Dec. 8. Many school employees had also donated clothing and outdoor wear for the families to select from, as several had recently relocated from Puerto Rico and are seeing snow and cold weather for the first time! At the end of the Holiday Dinner, they were all given a fun surprise. The fathers, and grandmother, of three of the ENL students brought their drums and other musical instruments and began singing some traditional Christmas music from Puerto Rico. They are pictured while they were singing “Feliz Navidad.”
