This past holiday season, the Master’s Plan Ministries, based in Dayton, gratefully accepted donations from the “Giving Tree” program that originated at Brooks Memorial Hospital. This year, Lakeshore Hospital also took part in this program, and the blessings were tremendous. Sheila Walier, director of marketing and community relations at Brooks Hospital, originally contacted Angie Mardino-Miller, founder of the Master’s Plan Ministries. The organization was nominated by Jane Thomas, medical records clerk from Lakeshore Hospital. Donations were distributed to recipients from throughout the area. The generosity of staff members of the hospitals is deeply appreciated.
