CAP selling tickets to replace Diamond Dinner

Submitted Photo Pictured is a diamond anniversary ring that is being given away to raise money for the Child Advocacy Program.

The Child Advocacy Program was not able to hold its annual Diamond Dinner event in April due to COVID 19, so CAP officials are offering three giveaways to the public.

Tickets are available to win an anniversary ring that would have been given away at the dinner, $100 worth of lottery tickets or two tickets to their next Diamond Dinner.

“Although many agencies were not open due to the quarantine restrictions, CAP has remained open since the beginning as the work we do is essential to the health and safety of children,” said Beth Oakes, Child Advocacy Program executive director. “In maintaining the tradition of giving away a Diamond ring, we have taken a non traditional and fun approach of raffling off not only the diamond ring, but 2 additional prizes as well. What is also great about this online raffle is the ability to reach others outside of Chautauqua County.”

Tickets are on sale for $25 through Aug. 31 at noon. Only 500 tickets will be printed. Winners will be drawn on Facebook Live at 4 p.m. Aug. 31. Tickets are available at www.capjustice.org or by calling 338-9844. VISA, Master Card, PayPal, checks or cash are accepted.
