Valley Historical Society cancels all meetings, closes museum for 2020

SINCLAIRVILLE — Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Valley Historical Society has decided to cancel all meetings, events and museum openings for 2020.

The uncertain availability of speakers and meeting venues and the constant changing of rules from New York state led to the decision now so people will not have to be concerned with their schedules.

The historical society has received several grants from different organizations to upgrade and repair many parts of the museum in Sinclairville, so the work can now be done without having to take museum visits into consideration.

Valley Historical Society officials hope to have a normal 2021 with the first meeting in April.
