Prevention Works’ annual Chiavetta’s chicken barbecues have been rescheduled for August in both the north and south county.

Those who have already purchased pre-sale tickets for these events will be able to use those tickets accordingly at the rescheduled date.

Originally scheduled for June 23, the south county barbecue will now take place Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chautauqua Mall parking lot, 318 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood. The north county barbecue will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Econo Lodge, 10455 Bennett Road, Fredonia.
