SILVER CREEK — President Ed Newman opened the Silver Creek Senior Citizens meeting with all saying the pledge to the flag, followed by singing “God Bless America.” He then welcomed new member Jane Penhollow, said grace, and everyone enjoyed corn on the cob, hot dogs, fruit pudding, cookies, and a delicious cake for Harry Suski’s birthday.

Winners of the 50-50 raffle were Ron Conover, Harry and Lorrie Newman. Gifts were won by Sally Shevlin, Ellen Sutehall, Sue Borowski and Kim Munch.

The Wheel of Fortune winners were: Kim and Don Munch, Bob Sutehall, twice; Ron and Carol Depasquale and Lorrie Newman.

Bingo winners were Harry and Annette Hoeber, Ron Depasquale, Joan Suski and Jane Penhollow.

The meeting closed with the singing of our club song.

Next week everyone is to bring their own brown bag lunch. Drinks will be provided.

The Silver Creek Senior Citizens group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. and we would like to see more seniors in the area come.
