In October the children’s Take and Make is a dancing scarecrow, teens can get a kit for an embroidery hoop spider web wreath, and adults can pick up a kit to make a book pumpkin. Patrons will be able to watch a video on Facebook for the month of October with visual instructions for the process of making the pumpkin from an old book. Can’t get to the library to pick up a kit? Don’t like to watch videos? A list of supplies needed and instructions will also be available. All of the kits are free and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Story time is being held virtually. Check Facebook for all of Miss Jill’s prerecorded stories. New stories from Miss Jill are posted on Tuesday evenings for bedtime story time, Thursday morning for pre-school story time and Friday morning for Fairy Tale Fridays. Miss Amy will read to school age children via Zoom on Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. starting Oct. 1.
